Do you want to make a change in your life but you keep procrastinating?
You’re curious and driven and are proud of what you’ve achieved.
And while you’ve always looked for new challenges to help you grow and learn there’s something you want to do that’s important to you. It’s been on your mind for some time — and you keep hiding, avoiding it, and making up excuses.
Maybe you’re thinking of switching careers, stepping up as a leader, or even starting your own business.
Maybe you’re not even clear about what you want, but something doesn’t feel right.
You want a change but it’s so much more than making a change for change's sake. It's about making a change that's aligned with your values, something that would allow you to embrace more of who you are.
Whatever it is, it’s important to you. But for some reason, you’re procrastinating and not putting any time behind it.
You’re living your life on autopilot.
You’re feeling frustrated and disappointed in yourself and you’re afraid another year will go by where you don’t make any progress.
So, you justify it to yourself. You don’t have the time. You’re too busy keeping commitments for everyone else — your kids, your family, your boss.
When you think you’re finally going to start taking action, self-doubt and fear come knocking on the door. That loud inner critic in your head convinces you that you’re not ready for that big change.
Instead of honoring yourself and listening to your longings, you allow your negative self-talk, your fear of failing, and of what others will say to drive your actions.
You convince yourself that your life is fine. That you like your job. That it’s just a phase you’re going through. You should be grateful for all you have. But deep down you know you’re not being honest with yourself.
You feel guilty for wanting more.

How would it feel to slow down for a moment and make time to listen to that longing inside you?
What’s possible when you quiet the loud inner critic voice?
I’ve been there and I know how frustrating it can be to let your inner critic run the show. I’ve always had a very loud voice inside my head telling me all the reasons why I couldn’t do something I really wanted.
I’ve made 1000 excuses why it was not the right time, or I didn’t have the time or the knowledge. I was a master at procrastinating and I felt pretty crappy about myself for not being able to keep my word when it came to my dreams.
Luckily, I found a better way of going about it.
Imagine how good it will feel when you look back a year from now and see how much progress you’ve made towards honoring yourself and your goals.
You’ve made the space in your life to slow down and listen to the longing inside you. You feel more connected with yourself. You’re working on what’s important to you and being intentional about your choices. And it feels good!
You’ve stuck to your word, followed through on your commitment to yourself, and are starting to see the evidence of all the positive changes you’ve made.
Now, more than ever, you’re proud of yourself. You have more confidence in your ability to make things happen.
When challenges pop up or things don’t go as planned, you stay calm and figure things out, one step at a time. You’re more understanding with yourself.
Waking up each morning is easy now — you have so much more energy and excitement as you face each day.
That inner voice is still there trying to keep you “safe”, but now you know better. Your inner critic is no longer in charge or making decisions for you.
You’re courageous and moving forward even when you have doubts and fears. You’re proud of the person you’re becoming.
Life feels so much better now.
Give yourself the gift of coaching and start making the change you’ve been wanting for so long.

If you’re tired of feeling frustrated about not working on what’s important to you and living on autopilot, if you’re ready to start prioritizing yourself and making progress, coaching can help.
I invite you to go on a journey in which I will support you to:
Get clarity about what’s important to you and live in alignment with your values. It’ll be easier to make decisions about what you choose to do and not to do, and feel good and energized about them.
Prioritize yourself and feel comfortable setting boundaries and saying no to others without feeling guilty and selfish.
Quiet your inner critic voice so that you can let go of your perfectionism and stop procrastinating.
Be brave and move forward step by step even if you’re not feeling ready.
Feel more confident in your ability to figure things out and feel proud of yourself for playing bigger in your life.
Be Curious. Be Kind. Be Brave.
These three elements summarize the essence of our journey together.
Be Curious
I’ll challenge you to get curious about yourself and about others. When we look through the lens of curiosity there’s no space for judgment and we are open to new perspectives and interpretations, open to growth and development.
Be Kind
I’ll invite you to be kinder with yourself. We often talk to ourselves in a way we wouldn't talk to anyone else. You’ll practice being kind with yourself — acknowledging and celebrating your achievements. Looking at your failures from a place of understanding and compassion rather than from a place of shame and blame.
Be Brave
And finally, I’ll encourage you to be brave and take action, get out of your comfort zone, and start making progress towards playing bigger.
Personalized 1:1 coaching
A personalized coaching experience: Coaching engagements are between 5 and 10 months. Every coaching journey is unique, and we’ll create an experience to fit your needs. We’ll meet over a video or voice call. And if you’re in Amsterdam we can even meet in person for some sessions.
A powerful kick-off session: Our first session will be 90 minutes and we’ll use the time to define your goals and expectations for our work together. We will also cover some fundamental coaching tools that will serve you through our journey together.
Two coaching sessions a month: After our 90-minute kick-off session, we’ll meet twice a month for 60 minutes.
Next steps after each session: At the end of each session we’ll identify next action steps based on your insights from the session. This will help you move forward and further reflect on your learnings. It’s very important you’re ready to make time in between sessions to keep your commitment. That’s where the transformation happens.
Support in between sessions: If you get stuck or need additional support in between sessions, I’m available on WhatsApp.
Your commitment:
You want to make the change happen and you’re willing to put in the work.
You’re ready to show up as you are, no hiding or pretending. Leave your “good student” habits at the door.
You’re open to exploring and being curious to try new things.
You’re eager to get to know and understand yourself at a deeper level.
My commitment:
I’ll believe in you, cheer you along the way and celebrate your wins.
I’ll be completely honest and challenge you to help you grow.
I’ll create a safe and confidential space, free of judgements, where you feel comfortable to be your full self.
I don’t believe anyone is broken and needs fixing - I’ll help you trust yourself and tap into your inner knowing and resourcefulness.
Hi there, I’m Carla.
I’m a coach who works with curious, driven people who want to make an important change but keep getting caught up in self-doubt, lack of time, and fear of what others will think.
I help them honor their commitments with themselves, feel more confident, and start taking steps towards what they want.
As your coach, I support you on your self-reflection and self-discovery path. Asking questions, clarifying what’s important for you, identifying limiting beliefs and old stories that are holding you back, supporting you to make deliberate choices, being your accountability partner, and cheering you on along the way.
“I learned a lot about myself - my strengths, my fears, my values, my desires. Carla helped me dive into my thoughts and turn them into specific practical actions. As a result, I was able to make decisions with confidence and greater peace of mind.”
— Elisabeth, Spain
You may be thinking, “Do I really need coaching? I can do it on my own.“
And you’re probably right. You can do it on your own. The question is, why hasn't it happened until now? Be honest with yourself about what’s getting in the way and how you can change that.
Many of us feel like we should be able to figure everything out on our own. We feel there’s something wrong with us if we need to ask for help. I’ve been there too. And what I discovered is that even if I could have done it on my own, and many times I did, it could have been easier, faster and more enjoyable with support.
I wish I had discovered coaching earlier in my life. It would have helped me navigate all that negative self-talk, and feeling inadequate and like a fraud more often than not. I wish there would have been a class at school where we learned to understand ourselves better, our self-image, our emotions, …
Don’t get me wrong, coaching is not a silver bullet. Whether you want to do it alone or you want to work with a coach, you need to be committed to making it happen. You need to want to change. You need to put in the work to make progress and you need to be curious and willing to open up and explore.
Working with a coach will not magically get you where you want, but it can help accelerate your growth and personal development if you are committed to it.
Let’s explore the changes you want to make in your life
Schedule a free 60-minute call to see if we’re a good fit. We’ll have time to talk about your goals, experience coaching, and address any questions you have about working together.
No commitment or expectations. Even if you decide this is not for you, dedicating an hour to talk about what’s important to you and getting to know yourself better, is a wonderful gift to give yourself.
And if you decide to work together then we’ll find a date for our first session together and take it from there.
Don’t wait yet another year to make the changes you want in your life.
We never regret having tried and failed but we always regret failing to have tried.
“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”
